LCK 2026 Media Day: T1, Gen.G and Hanwha Life Esports Lay Their Worries Bare

The pre-finals media day for the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea Finals took place at CHZZK LoL Park in Jonggak. T1, Gen.G Esports and Hanwha Life Esports each sent their head coach and two players to face the press. Every representative offered clear assessments of their opponents, and none tried to hide their concerns. Gen.G Esports enter the final from the upper bracket after beating Hanwha Life Esports 3-1. Hanwha Life Esports earlier defeated T1 3-2 after trailing 1-2. T1 now have to fight through the lower bracket to reach the final. Gumayusi pointed to Ruler's game knowledge, damage angles and consistency. When asked about their own strengths, the two veterans both said smart play matters more than pure mechanics.
